Eugen's Collection is a AI-driven game created in 48 hours during the Culture GameJam in Vienna. The theme of the jam was AI and NPC interaction, and our goal was to reimagine how players can engage with NPCs using large language models. In this unique narrative puzzle game, you step into the shoes of an art enthusiast helping the aging and now blind Prinz Eugen, a historical figure known for his grand collection of paintings.

Prinz Eugen has decided to open his vast collection to the public, but there's a problem—many of the paintings are missing their name tags. Unable to see the artwork himself, he relies on your descriptions to identify each painting and uncover its forgotten name. Your task is to carefully observe the paintings and describe them in detail, allowing Eugen to piece together the story behind each masterpiece.

But this game is more than just finding names. It encourages players to look beyond the obvious, teaching you how to truly analyze art, consider the finer details, and uncover the deeper meanings hidden within each painting. Eugen's Collection is a thoughtful blend of art appreciation, history, and AI-enhanced dialogue, inviting you to explore the world of art in a whole new way.
